This Reflect and act showcases a joint Hivos/IIED project on small producer agency in the globalised market. It highlights lessons learnt from this work, which is reshaping the debate on small-scale farmers and the changes they are facing in markets due to globalisation and modernisation, and thereby contributing to better-informed policies and practices.
