The research collaboration between IAPRI (Indaba Agricultural Policy and Research Institute), AEPRIC (Agricultural Economics, Policy Research and Information Centre) and IIED set out to understand informal trade in cotton in Zambia and Zimbabwe, and its impacts on the economic, social and environmental performance of the countries’ cotton sectors.
This workshop brief provides an overview of the findings and policy recommendations from the research.
