Stepping up global ambition for climate action and justice
Supporting the most vulnerable countries to increase global ambition to stay below 1.5°C
We help push for rules that will deliver equitable and ambitious outcomes in global climate decision-making and support urgent climate action to keep the planet below a 1.5°C rise in global temperatures.
In particular, our capacity-strengthening support helps least developed countries (LDCs) and other vulnerable developing countries to fully and meaningfully engage in the UN negotiating process and climate diplomacy.
We also help strengthen national climate legislations, policies and institutions in LDCs to deliver on commitments under the Paris Agreement and adapt to climate-related impacts.
