This document is the operational version of the ‘Locally led Adaptation (LLA) Evidence and Impact Framework’. It is a practical tool for documenting, assessing and learning from LLA in a way that is clear, consistent and comparable across contexts.
It is not a substitute for project- or programme-level monitoring and evaluation, nor a mechanism for primary data collection; it is a structured means of compiling and weighing the strength of evidence that adaptation is genuinely locally led and impactful.
