The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is advertising for a programme manager for its work on climate change and an assistant coordinator.

IIED's Climate Change research group is seeking a programme manager to provide overall managerial support to the development and smooth running of the public policy and drylands team and partner organisations.

Working with public sector actors (governments, bilateral and multilateral partners and development finance institutions), the team will design and test innovative solutions for public and private investment in equitable and climate-resilient development. The post-holder will have excellent strategic and management skills, and high quality problem-solving skills, with proven solid experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders from different backgrounds and cultures. The deadline for applications is midnight on Wednesday, 27 November 2019.

IIED is also seeking an assistant coordinator provide administrative, logistics, finance support and general coordination for two of its research groups. The postholder will support both the Human Settlements research group and the Shaping Sustainable Markets research group

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent verbal and written skills. You will have administrative experience including taking minutes, organising meetings and workshops, and will enjoy being the focal point for both groups, assisting staff with the submission of payments and travel expenses, reporting and associated documentation. The deadline for applications is midnight on Sunday, 24 November 2019.
