The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is advertising for a senior researcher and part-time HR coordinator.

IIED's Natural Resources research group is seeking a highly skilled individual to develop and manage action research programmes to strengthen the governance of land and land-based investment.

The legal tools team works to strengthen rights in the context of land-based investments. Working with partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America, the team employs a mix of action-research approaches to inform national and international policy and support socio-legal empowerment at the grassroots.

To succeed in this role, you will be experienced at building and maintaining collaborative partnerships and communicating confidently with a diverse range of partners from different backgrounds and cultures. You will have substantial practical experience working on law in a sustainable development context. The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday, 23 February 2020.

IIED's Human Resources department is also recruiting a part-time HR coordinator to provide a comprehensive administration and coordinating service in support of the institute's staff and HR team.
