We are an independent policy research organisation based in the UK and active in five continents through an extended network of partners. And as a growing organisation, we are often on the lookout for professional and creative people with a passion for our mission. Find out more about IIED.

IIED is seeking a bid support manager to work directly with our research groups to support our proposal development process and support the achievement of the institute's fundraising strategy. The post-holder will develop our in-depth engagement with existing donors, as well as building relationships with new or lapsed donors.

Among the tasks will be to track proposals and manage risks, help to gather early funder intelligence on upcoming tenders, develop partnerships with key consortium partners and carry out funder reporting and analysis. The deadline for applications is Friday, 5 March 2021.

We are seeking five trustees with a variety of backgrounds ranging from law and governance to social mobilisation, sustainable development and climate policy, to join its board of trustees.

Candidates should have wide-ranging strategic experience at board level and have ideally fulfilled a trustee role in a not-for-profit organisation previously. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, 17 March 2021.

IIED is also looking for a media manager to join the Communications group. If you have a strong press and media background, this is a superb opportunity to work with researchers, partners and local communities to promote global change.

As the media manager, you will develop, implement and monitor our overall media strategy. The ideal candidate will have the chance to drive awareness of our work on a national and international scale, showing how our research findings can inform critical decisions at all levels across important sustainable development themes. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, 19 March 2021.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all roles will initially be remote based.
