We are an independent policy research organisation based in the UK and active in five continents through an extended network of partners. And as a growing organisation, we are often on the lookout for professional and creative people with a passion for our mission. Find out more about IIED.

We are recruiting for a senior researcher to support the ocean and fisheries economics research programme, which looks at the use of innovative economic solutions to address the problems facing the fisheries sector and to support healthy marine and coastal ecosystems and resilient communities.

This role in IIED's Shaping Sustainable Markets research group will use evidence-based research to inform and influence policy and effectively communicate research findings through publications both at national and global levels. The post-holder is also expected to lead on new areas of research in ocean and fisheries economics and fundraising for the programme. The deadline for applications is 4pm on Monday, 1 October 2018.
