Strengthening Majority World philanthropies to transform climate and development finance
Active Project
Ife supports the housing justice, Majority World philanthropies and inclusive green economy teams in IIED. Her work focuses on advancing equity-focused development, fostering transformative partnerships, and operationalising initiatives that address systemic inequalities in housing and philanthropy.
In her dual role, Ife oversees programme management, stakeholder engagement, fundraising and project delivery for initiatives that address systemic inequalities in housing and philanthropy, as well as sustainable financing and biodiversity markets.
She also plays a key role in operationalising the Hub for Housing Justice and developing collaborations with philanthropic networks to amplify the voices and priorities of Majority World actors.
Ife also serves as a project manager for IIED’s Race and Racism Working Group, where she supports the implementation of equity principles across governance and operations, and facilitates organisational learning on anti-racism and decoloniality.
Prior to joining IIED's Human Settlements research group, Ife worked as a project manager within the Green Economy Coalition (GEC) secretariat and IIED’s Shaping Sustainable Markets research group. In these roles, she led multi-stakeholder initiatives focused on biodiversity financing and equity-driven climate action.
Across her roles, Ife has also provided significant communications support, including designing and delivering strategies to amplify project visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Programme management; multi-stakeholder collaboration; strategic communications; operational leadership. Ife also has a strong commitment to embedding justice and equity principles into sustainable development frameworks.
