From agriculture to climate change, and land rights to technology, outstanding women across the world are working on sustainable development in areas that impact all aspects of life. This series of interviews and blogs was launched on International Women's Day in March ahead of the 2018 Barbara Ward Lecture. The lecture was given by the first woman Prime Minister of Norway Gro Harlem Bruntland, who chaired the UN World Commission of Environment and Development that presented the groundbreaking Our Common Future report on sustainable development.
