Community Wildlife Scouts and Enterprise Groups Forum Report

The Community Wildlife Scout and Enterprise Groups Forum was held in March 2020 as part of the project Implementing park action plans for community engagement to tackle IWT in Uganda. The project brings together village-based enterprises and community wildlife scout programmes, with the aim of encouraging communities to work together to reduce human-wildlife conflict and reduce wildlife crime. The forum brought together 180 community wildlife scouts and village enterprise groups, from the area around Murchison Falls National Park, to share lessons learned and inform next steps. This report summarises the proceedings.
