Human Rights Standards for Conservation, Supporting Document 3: IUCN resolutions that reference Indigenous Peoples’ and local communities’ rights and concerns

This document sets out IUCN resolutions and recommendations (Pre-2000, 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012)that reference “Indigenous Peoples” or “local communities” or related issues such as traditional knowledge or customary uses of biodiversity. The approach highlights the increasing number of references to Indigenous Peoples, local communities, their rights and concerns.
