Confronting challenges like climate change and growing food and water shortages requires innovations that link local traditional, indigenous and scientific knowledge on equal terms to develop adaptive responses.
This session will present successful examples from the ground that are creating synergies across knowledge systems through the co‐production of innovations which respond to these challenges and envision sustainable futures in agriculture.
Presentations will include cases from IIED’s SIFOR project (Smallholder Innovation for Resilience) in Peru and China, and from SEARICE´s DARE project, Vietnam.
