Biodiversity and Development Mainstreaming: A State of Knowledge Review - Discussion Paper

This discussion paper is intended to support the mainstreaming of biodiversity considerations in development planning, by summarising international experience to date and synthesising lessons learned. It is a preliminary output of a three-year project (2012-15) to build resilient and effective National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) that influence development decisions and improve outcomes for biodiversity conservation and poverty reduction.

A revised version of this review is in production, and due for publication during late 2013 / early 2014. The report gives details of how you can input to the revision process.
