With 2010 set to be one of the hottest years on record, the need to tackle climate change grows ever more urgent – especially for the vulnerable countries and communities that have done least to cause the problem but will be first to suffer its impacts. With so much at stake, accurate, timely and accessible information is critical. The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) helps to provide this information by bringing the voices and views of the most vulnerable sectors of society to global audiences, through a variety of research projects, training programmes, publications and events.
