The study covered the islands of Grenada, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Trinidad. It included brief diagnostics in each country to assess the links between suppliers and users of watershed services, map out related initiatives, and identify learning needs and opportunities. Following the completion of the diagnostics, representatives from the four countries were brought together in a workshop to confirm interest and develop the outline of a follow-up action-learning project, which is described in this concept note. This regional project will contribute to a global initiative on markets for watershed services that is being coordinated by IIED.
