The International Network of Mountain Indigenous Peoples (INMIP) is a network of more than 50 Indigenous Mountain communities in 11 countries.

In light of the 2021 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, representatives of INMIP communities have come together to make a declaration, reaffirming the rights of Mountain Indigenous Peoples to food sovereignty and biocultural heritage, and calling upon UNFCCC Parties and Observers to protect Indigenous food systems as a key solution to the climate crisis.
