Full biography
Expertise

Louie has over 20 years experience of advocacy, communications, and learning within the NGO sector. She has particular experience in the areas of governance and fragile states; and in developing communications products and strategies to influence policy and practice.

Louie has an MA in Latin American Studies from the Institute of Latin American Studies and an MA in Writing from Warwick University.

Before IIED

Before joining IIED Louie held a variety of advocacy and communications roles at Oxfam, Save the Children, and Friends of the Earth Scotland.

Current work

Developing and monitoring editorial, production and brand strategies; working with researchers on strategic publications and blogs; supporting colleagues and partners in developing written communications skills.
