Event management, marketing and communication strategy development, digital and print communications

Before IIED

Prior to IIED, Juliette worked for an international sustainable development organisation, the International Pole & Line Foundation, leading the organisation’s communications strategy to support and promote responsible coastal tuna fisheries. She was responsible for delivering messages about the benefits of the fisheries, and their contribution to the global sustainable development agenda, to a range of audiences through events, digital and print communications, and press.

Juliette also worked with a communications consultancy and has volunteered on marine conservation communication and research initiatives internationally.

BSc in marine biology, University of Liverpool

Current work

Juliette is responsible for co-creating, developing, managing and organising IIED’s physical and virtual external events programme, delivering on the priorities identified in IIED’s 2019-2024 strategy. She also supports and develops IIED’s internal communications programme.
