Noor supports the Least Developed Countries (LDC) group at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), more specifically on capacity building activities for early-career LDC negotiators and as a climate diplomacy advisor providing technical support in just transition negotiations.

Before IIED

Noor has previously worked as a programme officer supporting the work of the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), a South-South cooperation platform of developing countries vulnerable to climate impacts, focused on climate change action and policy. She has experience in research and programme management support for countries vulnerable to climate impacts in policy, diplomacy and processes.

Current work

Noor is a climate researcher at IIED, focusing on international climate change processes, particularly within the UNFCCC. She develops and implements programmes of work, supports capacity-building initiatives for emerging LDC negotiators, and provides technical expertise on just transition.
