Paul is a chartered accountant and management consultant, with 30 years’ experience advising a wide variety of  international organisations at a senior level. Latterly he has focused on working with business, governments and research institutions on sustainability, climate change and international development. He led PwC’s international development practice for 10 years until 2020, and oversaw the firm’s role in leading the Climate and Development Knowledge Network among many other projects.

He is a trustee of Calm Mediation, London’s leading community mediation charity, and is on the board of Oxford Policy Management. He has previously served as a trustee at ActionAid, and as a member of the UK government’s Africa Investor Group and has chaired various mission-driven private sector initiatives such as Professionals Against Corruption and the Global Business Coalition for Women’s Economic Empowerment.
