Maren is a PRINCE2 certified project manager, specialising in sustainable development. Maren has coordinated a range of research and advocacy projects, as well as initiatives related to social accountability, livelihoods and humanitarian aid within large INGOs.

Before IIED

Maren has previously worked with Corra Foundation, Oxfam, Transparency International, ITAD Ltd and IMA International.

  • MA with Hons in Social Anthropology with Development, University of Edinburgh

Current work

Maren currently manages a portfolio of projects within the forced displacement team on topics such as refugee wellbeing in cities. She also supports other programmes and project teams within the Human Settlements research group, aimed at supporting more equitable and sustainable development in urban centres in low- and middle-income countries.
