Before IIED

  • Programme officer with Power Shift Africa, supporting the implementation of projects that support transition to 100% renewable energy in West Africa

  • Research assistant with International Center of Insect Physiology & Ecology (ICIPE)

Current work

Lilian works with the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Initiative for Effective Adaptation and Resilience (LIFE-AR), providing direct technical support to the LIFE-AR front runner countries  in the identification and design of national delivery mechanisms to deliver their 2050 Vision for resilience.

She also works across other programmes including the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA) dialogues, where she contributes to evidence generation to ensure parties have the resources and information they need to implement the Glasgow Sharm el Sheikh (GlaSS) work programme (PDF) on the GGA.

She is also a member of the IIED’s race and racism working group, where she is supporting the institute’s anti-racism agenda.
