Before IIED

Before joining IIED, Kira had nine years of experience in customer service-centric roles and has volunteered for several not-for-profit organisations. 

She is highly adept in communication and organisation skills, detail-oriented and always tries to provide a friendly and helpful service to all.

After spending a year as IIED’s Edinburgh office coordinator, Kira transitioned into the role of project support officer for the Climate Change research group.

Education

  • BA, double major in anthropology and English literature, University of Melbourne (2021)

Current work

Kira provides logistical, financial and administrative support to IIED’s programme of work related to international climate change processes, including supporting Least Developed Countries in the UNFCCC negotiations and implementation of global decisions.
