Kate Groom

Kate has worked for over 10 years supporting executives at C-suite level and joined IIED in 2023. 

She provides executive support to the chief operating officer and core operational functions, including finance, people, operations and facilities, governance and risk, and compliance. Her role is pivotal in supporting delivery of initiatives and projects that span across the organisation, working closely with many internal and external stakeholders. 

Kate provides secretarial support to IIED’s governance bodies, including the operations committee, equity inclusion and justice committee, management-union meetings, and the board sub-committee for people culture and remuneration.
