Before IIED

Jo worked for Accenture for 15 years as a management consultant and HR leader focusing primarily on HR transformation programmes, new business set-up and leadership of global teams.

She also worked for Unilever, Standard Chartered Bank and Alexander Mann Solutions.

Jo has lived and worked in many countries including India, Singapore, Philippines, Uganda and Kenya.

Current work

Jo is responsible for ensuring that IIED’s people agenda and ways of working reflect our commitment to justice, equity, inclusion and transformative change, and for developing policies and people management practice that enable and support an agile, supportive and values-driven culture.
