Carol is a systems entrepreneur with a mission to build movements that lead to lasting social impact for vulnerable communities.

As deputy chief executive officer of Asia Philanthropy Circle, she oversees operations and leads collective impact initiatives to solve seemingly intractable societal issues. That includes building systems to support the survival and thriving of children in the early years, fostering smart investments in climate resilience, and developing a transformational social impact ecosystem.

Carol’s experience spans climate change, economic development and migration issues, including past leadership of Harvard’s and the International Committee of the Red Cross’ initiative on the Syrian refugee crisis, as well as various programme and strategy roles at The Rockefeller Foundation, New York City Economic Development Corporation and Boston Consulting Group. 

She holds a MPP from Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in economics and political science from the University of California at Berkeley. Carol was also a Coro New York 2019 civic leader.
