Bimal has worked with Oxford Policy Management, the Australian Embassy in Kathmandu Nepal, FCDO-Nepal, UNDP-Kathmandu, ICIMOD, Practical Action, LI-BIRD and the Institute of Forestry.

Current work
Bimal is supporting the Climate and Development Ministerial process by technically leading the work on evidence review of good adaptation financing practices. He is also engaged in research on loss and damage, in particular, assessing the limits to adaptation.
