IIED director offers a strategic view
Camilla Toulmin has set out the new strategy for the International Institute for Environment and Development for the period 2014-2019 in a video interview.
Toulmin discusses IIED's intention over the next five years to build on its landmark work with partners on each of four research themes: climate change, natural resources, human settlements and sustainable markets.
She speaks in detail about the planned focus on four areas that will allow IIED to build on strength across the institute and provide key opportunities to influence change.
And Toulmin also appeals for interested parties to provide feedback in the form of comments on the strategy and suggestions for areas of work that might have been omitted.
Details of IIED's new strategy, which takes effect from this month, were first announced in early March.
