This series of blogs, curated by experts in IIED's Natural Resources research group, contributed to the discussions about the policy and practice of transforming the world’s food systems around the 2021 Food Systems Summit.
2021 marked the year of the first global summit on food systems. This series aimed to harness the political momentum and shine light on critical issues for food policy and investments at this crucial time for food systems.
These blogs featured a range of voices that added to the conversation about food system transformation, raised awareness of IIED’s programmes of work on food systems, and amplified key actors from the global South.
