Lina Yassin

Expertise

Climate diplomacy, UN climate negotiations, media and communications.

Before IIED

Lina worked on various roles relating to climate policy and communications. She was the program manager at Climate Tracker where she worked on implementing capacity building programmes for journalists on covering the climate negotiations.

She worked with Landell Mills as a consultant on the EU Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA+) project in Sudan. Lina also worked as a researcher on media freedom at City, University of London.

Current work

Lina works on supporting the Least Developing Countries (LDC) Group in pushing or more ambitious outcomes at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
