Hephzibah is a seasoned communications specialist with experience in communications, team coordination and engagement, event planning and leveraging data insights to drive impactful results. She uses qualitative and quantitative insights and creative approaches to support communication strategies and effectively manage cross-functional teams to complete projects successfully.

Before IIED
Hephzibah has gained versatile experience across fintech, foodtech, banking and e-commerce industries. She has held roles at organisations such as Leatherback, Taptap Send UK, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Sterling Bank, and Jumia Group.
Her experience spans communications data analytics, growth marketing, internal engagement, event coordination and stakeholder management. In these roles, she was responsible for planning and executing campaigns and events, managing relationships with diverse stakeholders and delivering strategic insights through a combination of communication expertise and data analysis.
In addition to her professional roles, Hephzibah has been involved in mental health advocacy while volunteering with Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI). There, she was involved in digital content creation, buddy system management, coordinating community outreach programmes and supporting teams with wellness initiatives and ensuring smooth operations.
