The Poverty and Conservation Learning Group Project Update May 2005

The Learning Group initiative was formally launched at the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Bangkok in November 2004. A preliminary meeting was organised during the Congress in order to raise awareness about the initiative, to solicit feedback on the need for the Group from key stakeholders, and to begin the process of consultation on different options for the structure and remit of the Group.
