Participatory community development, adaptive resilient systems, livestock systems, agriculture, natural resource management, water resource management.

Before IIED
  • Director of country and regional programmes and operations in Ethiopia, Kenya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, the Balkans and East and Southern Africa for Mercy Corps, SNV, and CARE
  • Head of development partnerships for the CGIAR research programme on livestock and fish – with ILRI, CIAT, ICARDA and WorldFish

Overseeing the building and development of coalitions-of-action around green economy issues for the GEC.
