Gerladine Warren was a coordinator (forest team), in IIED's Natural Resources research group until July 2020

Geraldine Warren is a coordinator in the forest team, which works on locally controlled forestry in Africa, Asia and Latin America and aims to improve the livelihoods of those who live in and around forests, as well as ensure those forests are managed fairly and sustainably.

Geraldine has an MSc in Development Studies at Birkbeck London; her dissertation was an investigation into poverty as a determinant of deforestation.

Overall coordination of the forest team, including implementing effective communication strategies, publication management, event logistics; team reporting and planning; and supporting the team finance coordinator.

Geraldine's specific area of focus is locally controlled forest enterprises through the Forest and Farm Facility and CoNGOs projects.
