IIED is seeking an experienced HR Manager to take lead responsibility for HR operational and recruitment related activities and provide professional support and service to IIED’s managers and staff members.

Working closely with HR colleagues, the successful candidate will oversee the delivery of the recruitment and induction process. They will also be responsible for improving HR processes and policies and the delivery of HR-related projects particularly on learning and development.

To succeed in this role candidates should have sound knowledge of employment law with experience of providing a wide range of high-quality HR services, support and advice. With particular experience in delivering a high-quality recruitment service including knowledge and experience of the visa process required for recruiting internationally.

It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people of all levels and backgrounds. Strong llistening, facilitation and negotiation skills to deal with individuals and teams and solve HR-related issues and problems are also required.
