CBA8 highlights - day two

The second day of the 8th Annual Community Based Adaptation Conference (CBA8), hosted by the International Institute for Environment and Development in Kathmandu on 28 April, focused on issues such as private sector finance, and saw game-playing used to inform delegates about adaptation finance decision-making.

Around 400 participants from more than 60 countries are attending the event, which aims to explore the latest developments in community-based adaptation financing, planning and best practices.

The second day included sessions on "Financing local adaptation in urban centres", "Financing Adaptation in the least developed countries" and "Securing private sector finance for local adaptation".
