Before IIED

Field experience in Latin America (Nicaragua and Ecuador), Asia (Myanmar) and North Africa (Egypt) managing research, designing/ implementing development programmes and leading campaigns and advocacy for Trocaire, Amnesty International, Lux-Development and the European Court of Justice.

LLM (Distinction) School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London; LLB, Law and French, University of Edinburgh.
