Jobs internships and volunteering
Current vacancies are advertised in our jobs section, together with details on how to apply. A limited number of internship and volunteering opportunities are also available each year. We value the range of skills and experiences volunteers and interns bring into the organisation along with their enthusiasm for learning. Candidates are generally about to complete, or have just completed, their graduate studies and seek to obtain some initial work experience in sustainable development. However, we welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds internationally. More information is available on our volunteers and interns page.
Free publications and downloads
Many of our publications are available to download free of charge in PDF format. Our database contains abstracts, further details, and download information for all our published work. You can search all publications (both formal published works, and informal literature) or limit to specific IIED published series.
Our briefings and opinions, give a concise and informative perspective on pressing issues of the day.
Further information about our work and partners
The 2014/15 Annual Report, Building bridges for sustainable development, highlights our achievements and tells our stories from the past 12 months – showing how we collaborate with partners to get local voices heard in regional, national and international decision-making arenas, and bring people from different cultures and sectors to share perspectives and experience.
