Directions to press briefing room: As you approach the Auditorium through the car park please walk to the left of the two large white tents, keeping the guard rail on your right side. Walk the short distance to the side of the Auditorium and you will find two white doors on your right. The entrance to the Press Briefing Room is the second door. It will have a sign on it.

1000-1030 Three Rights Holders’ Group or ‘G3’
The Global Alliance of Community Forestry , the International Alliance of Indigenous and Tribal Peoples of the Tropical Forest and the International Family Forestry Alliance. These organisations come together as the Three Rights Holders’ Group or ‘G3’ – whose members manage a quarter of the world’s forests. At Fair ideas they will launch a new book that calls on governments and businesses to support locally controlled forestry.

Halina Ward, Director of the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development, which will launch an international process to develop the first ever people’s manifesto for democracy and sustainable development. She will be joined by Peter Davies, Commissioner for Sustainable Futures, Wales and Dr Sándor Fülöp, Deputy Ombudsman for Future Generations, Hungary. (Hungary is the first country to have such a position).

1830-1900 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
The OECD will launch a consultation process with developing countries to ensure the practicality and relevance of the policy framework proposed in its draft report on Green Growth and Developing Countries. Speakers will include:
- Mr. Serge Tomasi, Deputy Director, Development Co-operation Directorate, OECD
- Mr. Steve Bass, Head, Sustainable Markets Group, IIED
- Dr. Kevin Urama, Executive Director, African Technology Policy Studies Network
They will be speaking about:
- the key findings from the Consultation Draft of the OECD Green Growth and Developing Countries report and its Policy Summary (which were both released last week);
- the main outcomes of the OECD Consultation Event with Developing Countries on 17 June (11h30-15h30) at the Fair Ideas Forum;
- information on the High-Level Event on Green Growth and Developing Countries hosted by Angel Gurria, Secretary General of the OECD on 22 June (14h30-16h30);
- plan for future engagement and collaboration with developing countries in testing and improving the green growth policy framework put forward by the OECD Secretariat.
