Sponsors GroupThe Sponsors Group, convened by the WBCSD, was made up of the organisations supporting and financing MMSD. The Project sought to attract a balance of commercial and non-commercial sponsorship to give life to its partnership approach. A total of 28 companies committed at least $150,000 each to the Project. MMSD also has a variety of non-commercial sponsors - ranging from governments, foundations and labour unions - who have made cash or in-kind contributions towards Project activities.
