The Mineral Resources Forum

The MRF-Environment is an Internet framework for information on the theme of minerals, metals and sustainable development, promoting the exchange of knowledge, experience and expertise in the impact of mining, mineral processing and metals on the natural environment; the mitigation of environmental damage; and planning for mine closure. MRF-Environment is jointly operated by the United Nations Environment Programme, Division of Technology, Industry and Economics (UNEP DTIE) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
