MMSD convened 23 global workshops and experts meetings on specific themes. These served to gather stakeholders from mining companies, labour, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), research institutions, academia, community groups and international organisations from throughout the world. These events provided valuable opportunities for sharing perspectives and played a fundamental role in informing the Project Report. A total of over 750 participants attended these MMSD events.
