Theme: Carbon markets that benefit the poor Project Name: Voluntary carbon markets Dates: June 2005 - ongoing Description: The Climate Change Group, in collaboration with the Sustainable Markets Group, is exploring opportunities for individuals, charities, governments and the private sector to offset their unavoidable carbon emissions in a manner which enhances sustainable development, and benefits poorer groups. Meetings IIED and nef have recently held two round table discussions on this subject.
